*Pursuit of happYness*

By Prasad Narkhede

We all want to be happy. The quest for happiness has been there since times immemorial. Different people have different ideas and concepts about happiness. What is happiness? How can it be achieved? is it reality or an illusion? How do happy people feel, live, and behave? These questions are often asked.
Many people mistake pleasure for happiness and are mad after them. Then make many sacrifices for them. But pleasures seek more pleasure's which in turn leads to dissatisfaction. Its not always the luxuries which makes us happy. Then what It is?
Wikipedia says "Happiness is an emotion with feelings ranging from contentment and satisfaction to bliss and intense joy."
The child in the pictures convinces me that he is the most happiest person in the world. He's free from fashion, competition etc. We also are in pursuit of happiness. Its our right.
but why we are in search of that when we already have it. Sometimes a smile makes our day.
We mistake ourselves that a coffee in CCD makes us happy but it's not the coffee but the Company of friends there make us happy. The coffee just satisfies us. There are many small things which makes us happy.
One cannot be happy when he/she is alone. The togetherness makes us happy.

first things first, welcome to blogging! nice to see u grow up :)

secondly, happiness is a state of mind rather than body. u can be happy under immensely bad circumstances if u are with ur friends, ur loved ones & family.

Something to say?
